Changing a due date

The dr can change the date based on sonos and how big your stomach is measuring, correct? So when do I get the next accurate reading? 20 weeks? (I am 11 weeks now)

Re: Changing a due date

At a recent appointment, the sono and doc said the baby was measuring 3-4 weeks ahead of my schedule.
The doc said they will not change the due date because they base it on your original calculations and inital sono rather than the groth of the baby now.
So, they might not change your date at all. Do you think it's really far off??

No, it's not really the due date I am concerned with I just wish I knew like exactly how far along I really am. I am just a little OCD at times. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Changing a due date

Oh! I hear you on that!
On that note, that's why I get wack-o because does that mean I should calculate by the "calendar" or a few weeks ahead if that's what the doc said I measure?
I am SOOO with you on this one!

Re: Changing a due date

DS measured 2 weeks ahead and ended up being late anyway.

They never changed my DD.

Re: Changing a due date

I had one due date, Nov. 16th. Then I went for the leve II and the hospital said I was really due Nov. 2nd. The doctor said that he wasn't going to change it, but a few weeks later, he said there is no way I am due the 16th and he changed it to the 9th.

so, basically...who the heck knows. Baby will come when s/he is ready Chat Icon
