Re: changing doctors
Someone on this board did - I can't remember, I think it was Luvsun - anyone remember?
If you are not happy with your practice for something you can't overlook, you have 1/2 your pregnancy left and if it makes you feel more comfortable switching then you should. Good luck!

Re: changing doctors
If you are not happy with your current Drs. I would switch. I had a Dr. that I didn't like and I switched and thank god I did- I LOVE my new Dr. and couldn't imagine delivering with the old one.

Re: changing doctors
You should definitely switch if you're not comfortable with your Dr. It's never too late.

Re: changing doctors
I think its so important to be comfortable with the person (or practice) who will be delivering your baby, regardless of how far along you are in your pregnancy. Good luck with your decision

Re: changing doctors
If it's that bad, I certainly would. It might be a PITA to get your medical records switched over though. Just think - what if you moved - you really wouldn't have a choice - right?

Re: changing doctors
Pregnancy brings in a ton of money to a practice. Keep in mind sonograms are billed at over $600 a pop. If you're not getting the service or support you need, don't hesitate to switch to someone else.

Re: changing doctors
As they say when I am getting a pedicure..."Switch!"
And getting your records should NOT be an issue - all you do is sign a release at the new Dr's office and they should be released directly to them by your old Dr. You should not even have to talk to anyone.
Good luck!!
