Changing RE recommendations

I am sort of unhappy with my RE (rs of ny), while I love my dr. I barely see him, This past cycle I raised concern with another dr other than my own that I wasn't responding well to the clomid and was basically ignored. Than I was told that they thought I had missed my O based on my blood work, even though I was testing at home everyday, they did an iui anyways

I'm looking for someone in eastern suffolk, maybe at LI IVF any recommendations

Re: Changing RE recommendations

ECF also has an office in Stonybrook. I've been happy with them. I go to Plainview though but i'm sure it's pretty much the same.

Re: Changing RE recommendations

That was my problem with them too. I think they have good doctors there, but their protocols seem to only go in one direction. If you complain that you want something more geared towards you, they dont' know what to do. Everybody starts there on Clomid (no matter age or issue), and after 3 of them...I moved on too. No one would talk to me about IVF (I was 39 at the time). And I didn't even know about injectibles with IUI. They never even talked about that option either.

Its good you are taking control of this.

Good luck.

I go to LI IVF Stony Brook. I've heard great things about all the doctors there.

Re: Changing RE recommendations

I go to LI IVF also and my Dr. is Kegnisberg. I have been very happy with them.

2 years ago I was with RS of NY and I actually conceived my DD with them. Although I was successful there, I knew that when the time came to try again, that I wanted to look at other doctors. There was just some things that I didn't like at the facility.

You need to do what you feel is best for you. Good luck.
