Changing Table Goodies
I am trying to make sure I have all the necessities for the "changing" station.
Besides *Wipes *Diapers *Diaper Rash Ointment
What else do you need to have on hand? I heard baby powder isn't good.

Re: Changing Table Goodies
I plan on having extra cloth diapers or something to put down under the baby so that the cover for the pad doesn't get dirty all of the time.
Are you planning on having a wipe warmer? I debated on that one. I have it on the registry though.
How about extra pacifiers?

Re: Changing Table Goodies
BRU carries disposable changing pads that you put down ontop of the changing pad. They are leak proof, so if baby wets the changing pad, just toss it in the garbage and put a new one down. They are hands down my favorite thing that I've discovered. I also keep tons in my diaper bag to use if we are on the go.

Re: Changing Table Goodies
I don't know if you have a Diaper Genie or just using a regular pail but I use a regular pail and I got these little blue bags to throw her poopie diapers in, tie the handles and then throw it in the pail. They help keep the smell away.

Re: Changing Table Goodies
In addition to what the other ladies suggested, I also keep her hairbrush on her changing table so i can brush it right after she gets changed. I also keep her baby lotion, eczema creams right there too.
ETA: Since i don't have a diaper pail like diaper genie or diaper champ, I keep a fabric softener dryer sheet in the bottom of her small garbage, it keeps the smell out of her room. We take her garbage out every day too.

Re: Changing Table Goodies
Just plain old tissues!
Sometimes you want to wipe something (fingers, etc.) without all that moistness from a wipe.

Re: Changing Table Goodies
If you are having a boy be sure to have a face cloth handy to cover him while he's exposed. It's helps keep the pee from getting in your eyes or all over the wall. You'd be surprised how far that little one can shoot!!!LOL And believe me he will do it everytime for a while.
