changng during teh middle of teh night??

how long oe ysou baby go wihtout changing awet diaper durng teh nigt? I think this is why Allison wakes up when she doe sbecaus eonce i chnge her she goes right back so its not like she is hungry. What do you suggest? i used pampers swaddlers

As long as DS doesnt leak through he sleeps all night and I change him in the morning. Being wet or dirty never bothered DS. If she is leaking then I would try going up a size in the diapers. If she is just waking up in the middle of night then she might not like the wet feeling. You could try a different brand but I think she is going to feel the wetness regardless. Another option is the diaper double (I think that is what it is called) it is a pad you put in the diaper so it absorbs more if the next size it too big for her.

I always change poopy diapers. If she is waking up because she is wet, I'd change her. Swaddlers are as good as you can find in terms of making baby feel dry.

I don't know. I remember reading that babies cannot really tell the difference between a wet and dry difference at such a young age. I never changed Ava's diaper in the middle of the night once she started sleeping through. Even when we would feed her in her sleep, I would not change her. Unless of course she had a poopy diaper, but she never does that overnight. MAybe it's just the contact that she needs, like a little snuggle. Try not changning it, but picking her up instead. Then, if that works, next week, try only going over and putting your hand on her back. Basically ween her from needing that. Or, if she really just hates a wet diaper, I guess just change it!
