Charities to donate your car to?

Charities to donate your car to?
I wasn't sure which charities accept donated cars, has anyone done this before and has a charity that they like? I wanted to research some and wasn't sure what the protocols were. Thanks for any info!

The Local Volunteer Fire Department.
They use them to practice -- for exercises and stuff. They will practice the jaws of life to learn how to more efficiently do it along with a bunch of other stuff. It is helpful and could save lives in the future if you think about it!

The song was in my head as soon as I read the thread! We donated to them once.
