Cheap Centerpieces.
I am having a 50th bday party for my sister on Friday. Obviously last minute. It is at a restaurant in a private room.
I need centerpieces for about 5 tables. Any suggestions for something pretty, inexpensive, attractive and ... cheap??

Re: Cheap Centerpieces.
how big do they need to be?
you can get cheap glass vases in all shapes and sizes and cluster them on tables with a few (real or fake) flowers in them.
or you can do shallow glass bowls with floating candles.

Re: Cheap Centerpieces.
i just had my engagement party and we did our own centerpieces.
you can also just do one floating gerber in the bowl, that looks really pretty and would be even cheaper.

Check out Michaels. You can get inexpensive glass bowls and put sand/flowers into it.

Re: Cheap Centerpieces.
When we had my eparty, we bought hurricane vases, filled them with sand, put in a small candle, surrounded by some shells and tied a ribbon around the top of the vase...each centerpiece cost around $8

Re: Cheap Centerpieces.
My wedding centerpiece was a candlestick with a foam ball in the center(stuck on the point thing you would normally stick a candle on) covered with tightly packed mums-I got a TON of compliments on them and they were cheap!

Re: Cheap Centerpieces.
lay down a square mirror, put tea lights on top of it and sprinkle some flower petals on and around the mirror as well.

Thank you. I stole the idea from Grace Ormonde weddings. I always hated going to weddings and peeking around the big centeroiece to talk to people
