Cheap shoes for a new walker?
I had specifically said to MIL last weekend that I wanted to get DS pedipeds or stride rites because they were better made shoes. DS has been falling down a lot and I said I wanted him to be in shoes that were more flexible/comfortable/easier to walk in/made for new walkers.........and we had an actual discussion with a friend of hers about how cheaper shoes (Payless specifically) are inflexible, therefore harder to walk in, therefore my son would be falling down a lot more. I also said I have no problem buying Payless shoes once he gets a little older, but right now I read that up until age 2-3 they should be barefoot as much as possbile or in shoes that are flexible.
Guess who drops off a pair of Payless shoes while I'm not home?
ANd now I'm the snob.....
I really can't win this week.....

You have to do what you think it good for your child... I think feet are very important and should be in good shoes when they are little!
(your not being a snob just doing what is good for your child)

I have a code for 10% off a footwear purchase of $50 or more at Stride Rite.
