Cheapest Earth's Best Baby Food?
Who has it the cheapest? I have seen the Stage 1 jars for 51 cents at Target. Anyone have them cheaper? Also, does anyone else make glass jars of Organic baby food? I know Gerbers has those plastic containers...

Re: Cheapest Earth's Best Baby Food?
Target has traditionally been the least expensive, but they raised their prices recently. Now, BRU sells the cereal/oatmeal 5¢ cheaper. The jars - depending on which variety may be less expensive at BRU as well (or the same price). Look for sales at Waldbaums (8 jars for $5 - not always advertised you have to look on the shelf) or BRU ($2 off purchase of 10).

Re: Cheapest Earth's Best Baby Food?
Target for regular prices but BRU has sales so often that it's at least competitive if not cheaper - and they have a MUCH better selection than Target. If you use EB cereal, there's a $1 coupon on the back of every box for 10 jars of food; that helps too, another 10cents off.

Re: Cheapest Earth's Best Baby Food?
Thanks all. I was at Walmart so I picked it up there. It was 54 cents per jar of Stage 1. Very limited selection (only apples, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes and bananas) of Stage 1. I didn't look at the Stage 2 since DS isn't up to that yet! Unfortunately there is no Waldbaums by me (I live in Essex County, NJ) but next time I go to my parents, I will check it out then.

Umm, that is almost the entire Stage 1 selection, the only thing they don't have is peas. EB stage 1 is only has 3 fruit and 3 veggie varieties.

Don't worry about it. I just didn't want you driving all over town looking for something that doesn't exist. I will tell you that the consistency of the stage 1 and stage 2 is virtually identical (peas are a bit thicker). What you are really getting w/ stage 2 is a bigger jar and more variety.

Very good to know! Thanks. You would think I know this since I do have a 2 1/2 yo but EVERYTHING has completely left my brain when it comes to this stuff!
