cheapest place to buy or order Britax convertible seats? i need THREE of them!
DD is almost ready for a convertible seat. i need to buy 3--my car, DH's and my mom's (she watches the kids).
i haven't decided which seat i'm getting (probably the marathon like DS has) but i'm having a heart attack at the thought of spending $1000 on 3 carseats.
does anyone know of any good deals to buy from? i will either go to a store or order online

Check out babycarseats.com. They are about 20 percent off, no tax, no shipping...and you get it next day

Also, i bought the Roundabout 50 for Tyler. My reasoning was that Jack has the Marathon and by the time he moves out of that and into a booster- Tyler can go into the Marathon. It was cheaper too and rated very high!

Have you considered another brand for the ones that won't be used as much.
The Graco Comfortsport is great and affordable. Just doesn't have all the bells and whistles. I've got Britax and DH has the Graco's since the kids aren't with him as much. So do the in laws.

I've bought two Britax Marathon seats in Emma on Amazon.com for over $100 off each!!  This was a few months ago, but I would keep checking their site. I've also gotten great deals on strollers at Albee Baby so I am sure they have good deals too like the PPs have said. Good luck!

This. Except I'd skip the Comfortsport, they're outgrown so quickly and for $20-30 more or so you can get a seat that will last longer.
There are other seats out there that are just as good, if not better feature wise, than the Marathons.
All of these are great seats and under $200 each.
Graco MyRide
Evenflo Triumph Advance
Learning Curve/First Years True Fit
Safety 1st Complete Air
And, you don't have to have th same seat in every car. There's nothing wrong with mixing and matching.
Also, Britax just released their new lineup which will be priced the same as the current lineup. While no on has touched these new seats yet, the specs on them show many, many improvements to their current seats. The release of the new lineup will give you another option of either the most current Marathon (which is called the Marathon 70) or buying the older marathon which you may be able to get at a discount.
Personally, seeing some of the changes they've made, I'd wait for the new model hits stores if I was dead set on a Britax.

I had a good buying experience for my Boulevard from babycatalog.com (no tax except in CT and free shipping over $99). The Boulevard is $215. Roundabout is $149 and the Marathon is $199. This is all based on coupons that they automatically add to the cart (roughly 20% off). Also the prices depend on the pattern- I just posted the cheapest ones I could find. HTH!

I agree withthe Comfortsport, disagree with the outgrown. We bought ours in February of 2008 when DS was 10 months old, he is now 3 years old and still in it and we have room to grow.
He is average (30lbs and 36 inches at 3)

If you want to save money but insistant on the britax, but the britax for the car the kids are in the most, and then a less expensive set for the other 2 cars.

Same here. We got the same advice from the people at BRU. The Graco Myride 65 is just as good as the Britax and with our coupon we paid $125.99 for the car sear and my DD loves it!!

I got mine at Amazon. The key is to not be picky about the color, the "off" colors are cheaper.
