Cheapest website for cruises
We're looking to book a cruise in Jan 2010 on Royal Caribbean. We have a large group of people that are coming with us. Does anyone have a cheap website for cruises?
Do you think that a travel agent would be able to discount us since we're travelling with a large group?
TIA!!

Re: Cheapest website for cruises
I would do a couple of things. First, call the cruise copmany directly and see what their prices look like. Then I would call a travel agent and do the same. As for websites, try expedia and vacationstogo.com. We've booked cruises from both.

Re: Cheapest website for cruises
Definitely call the cruise line and a travel agent first. The cruise line *may* have the best deals, or access to the latest or upcoming deals that have not been released to their travel partners or the general public.
While Internet sites like vacationstogo.com, americasvacationcenter.com, etc. are good for doing research, the prices that they offer are the same that the cruise lines offer either themselves or through their partners. The only thing to watch for are OBC (on board credits) which can vary from supplier to supplier, but the fares are generally the same.
