Check out what i'm making!
My best friend from childhood is having a baby girl in April and I'm knitting my FIRST blanket EVER!
What do you think!? I still have a ways to go but not so bad for one week in!

that is one beautiful blanket. the cables will help make it nice and warm!!
the only piece of advice i can offer... every now and then, take a minute to double-check that your gauge is still the same. this will help keep your blanket square.
i would be honored to receive such a lovely gift!!

How do I do that? I should probably mention that I just started knitting, this is my first time cabling and its my 5th project ever...lol
