Cheesecake bakers - what do you prefer?
do you use all cream cheese, or cream cheese & sour cream?

I like to use both sour cream and cream cheese. I think it gives a smoother texture and taste. Im not a fan of very heavy / cream cheese-like cake though.

the only kind of cheesecake I have ever made was all cream cheese. I am making one for Passover with a macaroon crust and my Dad says to me on Saturday "maybe you should use less cream cheese so that the cake doesn't weigh 15 lbs"
 my response "do you tell a master chef how to prepare his/her dishes"?
