Anybody do it? Any reviews?
Did you really notice a difference?

Re: Chemical Peel/Micro Dermabrasion
I was doing it for a while a few years ago to help with acne scars. It worked really well. I would do a peel, and then 2 weeks later get microderm...and then every other week alternate. I stopped going when my skin looked better, but now I need to go again. I just made an appointment for next week.
I go to Laser Cosmeica in Plainview.

Re: Chemical Peel/Micro Dermabrasion
I have had the microderm abrasion done. I loved it...But I only do it once a year or so. First off it was relaxing , but it also left me skin looking like it had a nice "glow".

I had the micro dermabrasion, and honestly, I didn't notice that much of a difference. I have problem skin and i feel like the more I do, the worse it is.

Re: Chemical Peel/Micro Dermabrasion
I used to go to a friend who worked in a high end salon in Manhattan and she would give me really good price for Microdermabasion and Peel packages.
My skin looked unbelievable!! I wish I could do it again but she doesn't work there anymore and with current prices I just can't afford it...

It really does get expensive. I happen to get what I think was a good deal when I bought it. For $1200 I got 6 chemical peels, 6 microdermabrasion sessions, 1 photo facial, and my choice of 3 SkinCuetical products. But that was about 4 years ago.

Re: Chemical Peel/Micro Dermabrasion
that's a good price for all that.
I went to Dr. DeMento's office and saw their esthetician Angela who was very nice and I felt comfortable with her.
They have a new system and until Feb 14 it's $150 a session for microderm. I want to try something more than your average facial. My 41 year old face needs something.
I thought either one would be ok to do because I'm so not ready for a face lift!
anyone do Botox?

I'm 41 also and feeling the same way. I have an appointment with a dermatologist on March 5 -- so I'm going to ask her what I can do then (I was thinking of Thermage).
As for Botox, my SIL does it and looks good. My husband has a connection for me at work (he works for a bunch of Drs.). I keep begging him to hook me up - he's working on it. I just want a shot between the eyes to get rid of my "11's" - nothing too drastic.
