Chemical pregnancies

Has anyone had one. I have been testing positive since friday testing everyday, even with the digital. Today I started bleeding and tested negative on two digitals. From what I read online, this is what I think has happened. Chat Icon Did you see your doctor after? Did you wait a month before TTC again. Thank you all!!

Re: Chemical pregnancies

I was almost 6 weeks along when I had my m/c. This was about 5 days after my BFP. I called my OB/GYN when I started bleeding and she had me go for a pelvic ultrasound and blood tests. With me, they saw some cysts so they had the ultrasound done again six weeks later, at which time they were gone. So, I was cleared to TTC. I was so heartbroken after. Unfortunately, many women have gone through this.

Sorry this happened. Chat Icon

Re: Chemical pregnancies

I had a chemical with one of my IUI's...I had gone in for a beta and then got my period. There's really no reason to go to the Dr. if it's a chemical. It means it wasn't a viable pregnancy, but there isn't any kind of fetus or anything so you will just get AF and have a regular cycle.
Most people don't even know they had a chemical pregnancy unless they are TTC and charting or taking tests.

Re: Chemical pregnancies

I had a chemical the cycle before I got my sticky bfp. I had 3 days of hpt that got darker each day and then a weird af came with killer cramps. I didn't see my doctor since it was such an early loss. I ended up getting pregnant again the following months and that one stuck. good luck and sorry for your loss Chat Icon
