chemical pregnancy...Updated

Ladies,

I posted yesterday about being nervous about my BFP and cramping.

I took a third test today and got a BFN.
I just don't understand!!! @ days of BFP and then this. I am just devasted. This is similar to what happened to me in Nov.

I just don't know what is going on. To be honest I fee like my body is betraying me. But I am still holding out hope, but I have slight brown spotting when I wipe.

I have a dr appt tomorrow morning.

Is there any type of testing my doc should be doing now that this appears to be my second failed attempt???

UPDATE:
I went to the doc today and he took blood for a beta. I have to wait for the results tomorrow. When I got home I began to bleed. Hopefully the next step is to find out why I can't get past 5 weeks with a pregnancy.

Thanks for you thoughts!

yes-it is called a recurrent pregnancy loss panel. I had it after miscarriages and found out I have a gene that makes my blood clot. Anyone who has had 2 or more m/c(a chemical is a m/c) should have this testing done.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I found out I had a c/p last week. This is after 2 years of ttc. It's rough and I, too, went through the thought of my body betraying me. I had 3 postive tests and then when I went to the dr., it was negative. I was so confused. I've had a m/c over a year ago and I'll tell you that emotionally this was much easier to deal with. I had to get a d&C, which was horrible.
Chemical Pregnancies are so common that drs. usually don't make a big deal about it. Mine didn't seemed phased at all. GRRRRRR!!!
There are tests - one being what the other poster said about a gene that affects the clotting. For that I take a baby asprin daily and a prescribed folic acid/B6/B12 pill.
Good luck.
