Chest Pain anyone? UPDATE AT BOTTOM**
I think that I pulled something cause my chest is sore and when I turn a certain way it hurts, I get this fleeting stabbing like pain that comes and goes and now my back is hurting and sometimes when I breathe it hurts... I"m wondering if its from hauling DD around in her infant seat (which I finally stopped doing)... anyone else have this happen? I'm gonna call the dr to rule out everything else...
**Soo turns out I have something called Costochondritis & Tietze Syndrome... big words for inflammation of the cartilage where ribs attach to the breast bone, the sternum. Kinda like torn cartilage... probably from heavy lifting, constantly picking DD up etc... so just have to try to take it easy and take anti-inflammatories. So glad it wasnt something worse!

Re: Chest Pain anyone?
I had that, but before having baby. Mine ended up being i pulled all the muscles in my back. I went to physical therapy and they said i had tons of knots in the muscles and they massaged it out. After the first massage it made a huge difference.

Re: Chest Pain anyone?
I developed symptoms like this as well. My pain came and went within 15 minutes though, several times a month - I thought I was having a mini heart attack. Turns out, I needed to have my gallbladder removed. MY hormones were all crazy from giving birth and developed gall stones that kept on getting stuck in the duct (that is why my body felt paid becuase it was trying to dislodge it). I definately would go to your Dr.

Re: Chest Pain anyone?
I had this as well for the first 4-5 months I had the boys. It was in the spot between my breasts (right above them) and I really thought for awhile that something was wrong with my heart. One day i went for a massage and once I told the guys I had twins he goes does it hurt right in between and above your breasts. I was like YES! He said that is common with parents who have kids who are bigger (or two in my case). He said you were using a muscle that you probably didn't use that much before kids and now use all the time. He also said not everyone gets it because everyone carries their kids differently.
It got much better once the boys started crawling and I didn't have to carry them everywhere. It pretty much stopped by 6 months.

Same here! It happened 5 months PP. I went to bed feeling FINE and a few hours later I was in the ER having the WORST attack ever. I had stones and had to have the whole gall bladder removed. Dr.s Said it was 99.9% due to the pregnancy. I was scared out of my mind because I thought I was having a heart attack. So scary!
I hope you feel better soon. Def. try and maybe see a Dr.

Awwww Dont be scared. Like I said, mine hit me out of the blue. You could simply have a pulled muscle too.
Keep us posted.

Re: Chest Pain anyone?
don't be scared...it really could be just gas pains like everyone was telling me, even the gastroenterologist. My symptoms were confirmed through an abdominal sonogram. I hear it is very common for gall stones to develop during and after pregnancy because of changes in your hormones.
Keep us posted and if it is gall stones, I'm here if you have questions.
