My cousin has the Equinox. She LOVES it.
We just bought a Santa Fe. I LOVE it.
If you want something a little smaller, have you looked at the Hundyai Tuscon?
They really are good cars.

I have the Equinox. Overall we're pretty happy with it. Have had a couple of minor but irritating problems like the hydrolics on thr rear door going. Its too small now that we have 2 kids -- we're getting the GMC Acadia when this lease is up.

The Arcadia is beautiful. My sister in lwa will probably get one after her Envoy lease is up.
Our neighbors have the Tuscon. The interior is smaller than what we have now.
If we cannot find a truck that we like we are going to lease an 08 Kia Sportage. We love our 2006 Sportage.
Just trying to weigh our options

I drove a rental Equinox for 2 months. It was a great experience but I felt the pedals were a bit small...then again I might have big feet.

i have an equinox. I'm somewhere between liking it and loving it. Overall, it is pretty comfortable and drives like a car. The only complaints I would have are that with the baby it is now a little small (not terrible) AND the car has a lot of blindspots so I get nervous sometimes.

My DH is a GM dealer, and I have to say the Torrent is a nice car. As is the Acadia. I've driven both for a while. I ended up getting an Envoy over the Torrent last year because DH said the incentives (rebates, etc) on the Torrent weren't that great, but I can ask him if that's changed over the last 18 months. FM if you want to take a look at what DH has.

not sure if you're looking for other options, but i LOVE my toyota RAV4... its roomy, but not huge, sooo comfortable to drive, and amazing on gas mileage. i have the 4 cylinder, and the pickup on it is great.
