Chewable Vitamins
At what age were you able to give them to your child?

At dd's 18 month appt, doc said if we wanted we could give her 1/2 of flinstones vitamin.
We haven't as of it, she's just about 21 months now.

Re: Chewable Vitamins
We started at 18 months. Much better than those nasty smelling fluoride drops.

Re: Chewable Vitamins
My dr said chewables at 2 years old. But they would be prescription chewable from him until DS is 10-12 years old. After that he can go to the over the counter ones

Re: Chewable Vitamins
My DS started at about 2. He had the liquid, smelly vitamins up until then. He has a gummy vitamin every day.
My DD started with the gummy vitamins at about 18 months. She wanted what her brother had.

Re: Chewable Vitamins
Sarah started around 18 months. Andy started to refuse the liquid vitamin around 16 months so we were giving him Sarah's starting around then.
It's a prescription one with floride.

Re: Chewable Vitamins
Mine's a prescription one with fluoride. They're fruit flavored, he loves them.

Re: Chewable Vitamins
At Hannah's 1 year visit he prescribed a new multivitamin and it's a chewable. I'm still finisihing up the liquid ones so we haven't tried them yet. I'm wondering if it's a mistake.

Re: Chewable Vitamins
My ped asked if I wanted chewable at our last visit (he's 20 month now) but I am staying with liquid a little longer. Next visit maybe.
