Chewie's not feeling well.
He threw up last night in the middle of the night and this morning. I hope he is better later. Should I make him some white rice?

Re: Chewie's not feeling well.
Thanks girls! The weather has been average, not a lot of change. I did give him a bacon nyla bone yesterday but only let him bite it for a little while. Maybe that got him sick? I will try the rice later. Poor Chewie.

I would make him some white rice. My sister does that for her pug when he is sick.
Poor Chewie!

Re: Chewie's not feeling well.
oh no - poor little Chewie!!! I know it's also mosquito season now too - do you give him any kind of flea and tick treatment? Maybe he's having a reaction to a bug bite or something like that Poor little guy, I hope all goes well after your visit to the vet!!

Re: Chewie's not feeling well.
Thanks everyone! He is doing much better. The dr. said when pugs get an allergic reaction, their throat can close up. Thank goodness this didn't happen!

Poor Chewie. I hope he's feeling better. Karissa, do you have a bird feeder in the yard? Both of my dogs got very very sick from eating the old seed shells, etc. from the bird feeder. $250.00 later, buh-bye birdie.

No bird feeder. That's good to know though.

Supposedly there is some sort of bacteria that forms in old birdseed. So when they both got sick, the vet was like "any chance they got hold of old birdseed?" I never gave it a second thought when I would clean it out and put new seed in. They were sick for a week
