Chicken Burgers
I want to try to make my own Chicken Burgers using chicken chop meat. An Italian store by where I work has them with tomatoes and mozzerella in them- that is what I am looking to do! Should I add some kind of herb or seasoning to the meat? What would you suggest? We were thinking oregano or italian seasonings... or maybe a little garlic garlic from Tastefully Simple?

Re: Chicken Burgers
When I make chicken burgers I usually put in a little finely chopped onion and I use McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning, which is so good! Or I will also mix in chopped spinach and feta.
I have also made the recipe below and it is very good.
BBQ Chicken Burgers 1 tablespoon butter, cut into pieces 1 small red onion, 1/2 finely chopped, 1/2 thinly sliced 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it 1 tablespoon hot sauce, eyeball it 1 1/4 pounds ground chicken 1 tablespoons grill seasoning (recommended: McCormick brand) a palm full 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil 4 cornmeal Keiser rolls, split
In a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add chopped onions, garlic and tomato paste and sweat them for 5 minutes to soften and sweeten. Sprinkle in sugar and remove from heat. Cool in a bowl, 5 minutes. Add tomato paste mixture, Worcestershire, hot sauce to bowl and combine. Add chicken to the bowl then grill seasoning and combine the burgers well to evenly distribute the flavors and form 4 patties. Wash up. Heat 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil, a turn of the pan, in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties 6 minutes on each side.

where do you find ground chicken?
It is usually near the Perdue Chicken by the meat. They usually have two kinds, one is ground chicken and the other is ground chicken breast. I only buy the ground chicken bc the other type seems very slimy (although it is probably healthier). I just can't bring myself to use it.

Re: Chicken Burgers
Thai chicken burgers
1 pound of chicken mince 2 tablespoons of sweet chili sauce (not sure if you can get this in the US, but it is kind of sweet-like a duck sauce with chilies. Check the Asian section of the supermarket or at an Asian store, it is Thai) 2-3 (I think) Tablespoons of soy sauce (this is the one item I am unsure about). 1 cup grated carrots 1/2 red bell pepper diced 3 spring onions sliced, bottom part only Handful Fresh Coriander Breadcrumbs. Enough to make it bind Salt and Pepper to taste.
Make it into burgers and cook. Serve with Sweet chili dipping sauce.
