Chicken in the fridge. How long? UPDATED
Took chicken out of freezer Thurs and never used it. Its still in fridge. Will it be ok tomorrow?
Update: ok we used it tonite. It didnt smell and it tasted fine. Thanks everyone. I wouldnt have been able to wait til tomorrow. I think 3 days is MAX

I usually go by 3 days in the fridge, but the whole first day was probably defrosting, so it should be fine tommorow.
I would just smell it to make sure its not funky.

I would not use it. It has been defrosted since Friday. I will only cook it about a day after it defrosted at max.

I would throw it out. don't mess with chicken - not worth it!
if you've had in the fridge since Thursday, IMO yesterday was the last day to cook it

If I took it out of the freezer on Thursday evening, today woudl be the last day I would use it. Otherwise I would toss it.

I was just watching one of those shows-either dateline or 20/20 ......
saying that chicken starts to go bad-& bacteria starts to multiply at a very fast rate after more than 2 days in the fridge!!
