Chicken marinade

What do you marinate chicken in? I usually do italian dressing or BBQ sauce, just looking for some other ideas. No milk or butter please, my son is allergic to milk.

Re: Chicken marinade

we use the Lawry's marinades
I buy different flavors of dressings (we have Italian pesto to try) when salad dressings are on sale and I have coupons (or you can experiment with store brands)
I also like the McCormick Montreal Chicken--you cna sprinkle it on OR make a marinade with it

Re: Chicken marinade

Thanks all! I can't wait to try some of the homemade ones.

Shana we can't use most of the marinades or salad dressings on the market since most have milk in them, just under a different name. Believe it or not, there is a list of about 40 ingredients that actually are milk. It's insane. I carry a card in my wallet with all of them, plus we keep a magnet on the fridge to refer to if we aren't 100% positive it's safe.
