Re: chicken pot pie recipe
I make such an easy one and it comes out so good.
Pillsbury frozen deep pie shells(2) small can of cream of celery can of mixed veggies can of diced potatos boneless chicken
first I cut the chicken into chunks, then boil.
next, take chicken, veggies, potatos, cream of celery, and a little water..mix in bowl.
follow the pie crust directions for preheating
put mixture into one crust..then take other crust and place it on top.
bake, comes out so good..even better the second day

def...I use to only use cream of chicken. Then one morning, I was watching Tony Danza show, and they made it with cream of celery, I gave it a whirl..and it comes out so good..that extra little flavoring.
one thing to remember, since soups are salty, I never add extra salt to the mixture.
With cream of chicken..use more water then you would cream of celery. Its too thick without the water

Re: chicken pot pie recipe
You can also use Bisquick for the pie top.
Take all the ingredients, put it in a baking dish and spead bisquick batter over the top.

Re: chicken pot pie recipe
Put a pie shell in a pie pan...put all you goddies into the shell add gravy...put stuffing on top...so good and it is a great way to use up leftovers. I make it anytime we eat chicken or turkey, Dh and the kids all love it. ENJOY!!!
edited to add..bake at 350 for about 30-40 minutes
We have also used puff pastry dough or refrigerated crossant dough and left out the stuffing on top...just bake it the same and enjoy.
