Child care leave
Does anyone know if you can work part time while on child care leave. I want to stay at home with the baby but I need some type of income so I was gonna get something part time if I'm allowed

Child care leave
with the DOE you are not allowed to work outside of the DOE unless it is something you did prior (like tutor ) and they approve it. You CAN do per session or Fstatus

I'm not a teacher I'm a speech pathologist so it's not like I would be working in another school. I would be doing other work
So stupid the rules obviously I wouldn't work during school hours because I would be watching the baby. So irritating

I agree but as with everything for the doe ask 20 different people get 20 different answers! Blah!

During my maternity leave workshop, we were told what the other posters already said. You can't work for anyone but the DOE during a childcare leave. If you try it and they catch you, you'll be terminated. It definitely sucks
