children at the dog park

Last weekend, when we went to the dog park, there was a child about 7-8 years old in the small dog area harassing my dogs. He was picking up Bella, pulling Denver's tail, and chasing Denver. Whenever the mom saw him, she told him to stop but she was not that attentive. He literally would not stop. I didn't say anything to his mom but I probably should have because if my dogs reacted, I would have been the one with a problem. I'm lucky that my dogs were good but you never know what they will do with a strange child harassing them. Just a note that if you bring your kids to the dog park, keep an eye on them!

I have seen that before and I won't bring Misty in or take her out if the child is messing around with the dogs.
The dogs are all hyped up cuz they are playing and you never know what could happen.

I could never imagine taking my eyes off my dogs, never mind my DS in a dog park....
