Children (particularly in the 1ish age range) in first class

I remember a thread awhile back about children in first class.. I tried searching for it but can't find it Chat Icon If anyone knows where I could find it or bump it for me I would really appreciate it.

So we are going on a family trip to italy around the time that DD will be 1. My dad trying to be really nice used his airline miles to upgrade me to first class (while he sits back in coach, my dad is awesome), his thinking that I will have the baby with me and obviously having all that extra room will be better for an international flight.

I'm starting to panic though that people are going to flip and get really mad when they see a one year old sitting in first class, and was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this.. DD is REALLY well behaved at 5.5 months now, but I know there is a big difference btw a 5.5 month old and 1 year old.
