I live 2 minutes from it and I've never been! I hear it's great though. I'm gonna get a membership for the summer.

We went 2 weeks ago -- it was OK -- def. not a place for more than an hour though. How old is your little one?

It's in Bridgehampton. I'm guessing you have an infant. They have one small corner with a padded soft play area, nothing much at all. Other than that, I think its most appealing to a 3.5 - 4 year old.

Not sure ... I think some of it will prob. be too old for her, but she can play some of the instruments, there's a reading room, a little "soda shop" for pretend play, (but not really much in it) -- too quote Randy jackson, "it was just OK for me"

We are members. It in NO WAY compares to LICM. It is nice but not a whole day thing.

Re: Childrens' museum of the east end- anyone ever been?
We went (what a DRIVE!) but we met friends that live out there. It was really cute and I loved the art room where you could go on your own and have the kids paint, but it's not a huge place and it's certainly not somewhere you could spend a few hrs. LICM is much larger.
