chimney company dilemma

i'm not sure what I should do, this is the story:

a few months ago we called the chimney people that my father recommended. they came told us we needed a new rain cap (which we knew) and that the crown of the chimney needed to be redone. $600 (150 for the rain cap, 150 for the cleaning and 300 for the new crown) Fine, we paid them for it. DH wasn't to happy that the "new" crown meant that they just slopped some new cement on the top of our chimney but we dealt with it. a couple of weeks ago, i go down into our basement and there are puddles of water coming from the chimney. We call them up and they send over a guy that says we have the wrong size chimney cap and thats why water is getting in. ummm, ok you people put it on there...he tells us that the guy who did it they fired because he didn't know what he was doing...
The guy then tells us he'll be back in a few days with the right size cap. he never comes back, so i call up and they tell me, we need a custom made cap, and that its going to be $400 (minus the 150) we already paid.

i've never heard of a custom cap...
i don't know what to tell them!!!

We used Dunrite Chimney and were very satisfied with them. I found the crew I dealt with to be honest with me- after I did some checking on the BBB and such.

They put it up there- they should fix it PERIOD! I would also contact the BBB

my Dad had a company come and clean and put the cap on- then 2 squirels got in- it cost my Dad $600 bucks to have some one come over thanksgiving weekend and get the squirels out- it was so freaky
