Chinese gender predictor
Did anyone ever try to conceive in a particular month to try to have a boy or girl and did it come true?
Just wondering. I remember listening to all the old wives tales and doing all the quizzes to see if DS was a boy or a girl before we were able to find out. The Chinese predictor was actually the only one that is correct. I was just looking at it again and it says based on my age if we conceive again in Sept. or Oct. it will be a and if we conceive in Nov. or Dec. it will be a Either way is fine for me

I didn't try for one or the other, and the Chinese predictor said girl, but we had !! Same here. Actually the predictor said that the only month in 2006 to conceive a boy was March & that is not when DS was conceived.

Re: Chinese gender predictor
With all of these "predictors", when it is right (roughly 50% of the time), those people tell everyone else that it was right. When it is wrong (also about 50% of the time), they wind up forgetting about it.
It's biologically impossible for there to be a chart like this. Some fathers can only produce female offspring. Many mothers have multiple children at the same birth, with both genders.
