Chipboard Alphabets
I am now obsessed with these things. I got two sets from Pressed Petals and love them but each set only comes with one alphabet and few extra letters...not easy when you need more than 2 As. Anyone know where to get a good deal on these things?

Re: Chipboard Alphabets
Did you check ebay??
That's what I cannot stand about alpha sets -- I have a pile of Q's I don't know what to do with but run out of the good letters. Some companies make supplemental sets of more popular letters - does Pressed Petals have something like that?
I made a couple of my own -- the letters weren't punched out but they were die cuts I adhered to a chipboard piece that was painted & mod podged. They look kind a cute. I don't have a picture though.

Re: Chipboard Alphabets
Christine - you just need to get a cat and name it Quintin so you can use those Q's!
Can you cut thin chipboard with the Sizzlets alphas, or would you have to use the stronger Sizzix dies to cut through? I was wondering if you could glue patterned paper to chipboard then cut your own alphas. I'm thinking of trying that with some bookplate and flower Sizzix dies I have.

Re: Chipboard Alphabets
I have been telling Don for years that Bob needs a brother or sister but he won't here of it. I love that our last name begins with Z so I can get use out of that letter...
I don't think the sizzlets would cut through chipboard -- I struggled trying to cut through that wacky tacky tape once. Maybe I'll try the QK's with the sidekick.
Ang, sorry we don't seem to be any help here.

Re: Chipboard Alphabets
No help...who's no help?
The ebay idea was great! I am going to search there as well. I tried making them on my own and cutting through the chipboard is a PITA.
But like all additions, I must have this so I am on the search.
