Chocolate lollipops
Does anyone know someone who makes chocolate lollipop favors????
I am doing a Blues Clues theme for Jacob since he is obsessed with the show... I am doing a BLues Clues cake but thought it would be cute to add chocolate lollipops to the favor...

Re: Chocolate lollipops
They are reallly easy to make, you can do them yourself! If you have a party specialty store they should have everything you need. Chocolate (either colored chips or chocolate coloring) bags sticks molds etc

Re: Chocolate lollipops
If you want to make them, there is a place called, The Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale on Main Street. They have EVERYTHING you would ever need to make them. IF you don't have time, which I totally understand, you can have them make them. I think they might be around $1.95 pp. I could be wrong, but that seems to be the going rate. Check them out. You could also ask them how to make them. They are really nice.

Re: Chocolate lollipops
Thanks everyone.. I saw the ones on ebay but I am a little concerned that they will melt in transit even with coolers..
I know about the Chocolate duck, so I might take the plunge and do them myself with my mothers help, of course... I think she made them them when I was younger...
Does anyone know someone locally, just in case???

Re: Chocolate lollipops
I make them and they are pretty easy to make. I don't get too fancy though, I just do a solid color (in this case, blue) and add the candy eyes. I always make chocolate lollipops for all my kids bdays and I even make them for all the holidays for my son to give out in school. They are easy to make, just time consuming.

Re: Chocolate lollipops
Like others have said, they are SUPER easy. I make them for holidays for my son's class and I made about 100 for their Cub Scout awards dinner. You can get molds, sticks and cute wrappers at AC Moore. Then just melt the chocolate in the microwave or get a chocolate melter. I have this one from QVC and it was only $20 and comes with a bunch of molds and sticks.

Re: Chocolate lollipops
On ebay there is a seller who is located in Queens. She has a phone # so maybe you can call and arrange for pick up. Local Seller
I personally never dealt w/ her but I remember her name from when I was researching Dora pops for DD's party in March.
