Christening Entertainment
Hey! I wanted to know if you girls have any ideas for entertainment for a christening. I am debating to have a DJ but I wanted to know other ideas out there. I am having it at a catering hall and I have only 7 kids the rest are adults ( I have about 80 people all together). So I wanted something to entertain the kids and the adults.
Thanks so much!

Re: Christening Entertainment
I think just a DJ is ok for everyone. They can hand out those toys and morraccas and inflateable stuff and the adults can just dance. I'm probably doing that. Which I was totally against at my wedding, but the christening is def different especially with kids!

Re: Christening Entertainment
I've never been to a christening that had a DJ, I don't think it's necessary IMHO. but if you want one, i think a DJ would suffice.
If you don't go with a DJ, then make a kids table filled with things for them to do.

Re: Christening Entertainment
I worked in catering prior to being preggo and have seen all sorts of entertainment for Christenings. Either a DJ, or if you have an ipod with a speaker that is loud enough- and an entertainment table for the kids will do (since you are only having 7).

Re: Christening Entertainment
That is what my husband is saying! He is like this is not a wedding! I didn't even want it to be this big, but 80 people is ALOT! So I guess we don't need a DJ!
Thank you so much!

Re: Christening Entertainment
im debating the same thing. As of right now we have over 100 ppl (and that's almost all family, i think like 10 are VERY close friends) im wondering if we should get a DJ but at my engagement party I had one and no one danced! I may just do the ipod thing

Re: Christening Entertainment
We had 90 people at my DD's baptism party-it was at my home. There were probably 20 kids. I did not hire any entertainment.
I bought a bunch of bubbles, rubber balls, chalk, crayons, coloring books. They really entertained themselves and the adults just socialized. I also set up my ipod & speakers out front where the kids were playing.
