Christening-entertainment for kids

Hey there,

For you ladies who have had your DC's Christening, did you provide any entertainment for children that were at the party?

If so, what did you have? I'm thinking of a pinata but wondering about other options.

I had a gift bag for each kid that had crayons, a coloring book, stickers, silly bandz and a few other quiet activities for the kids at DS's Christening.

No formal entertainment.

That sounds pretty good-thanks! I'll have music on and all that but didn't want to go too crazy with entertainment.

How old are some of the kids?

If the party is at your house, a great "kid" friendly game is LCR. We play this with the kids in my family and it is a HUGE hit!!!!!

We just had a table set up with crayons; coloring books, stickers, and construction paper.
They ran around and entertained themselves mostly.

I think I'll go with some coloring stuff and all of that and I'm def going to look into that LCR game too!

I'm good Mrs. O. ;0) Munchkin is getting big, and def so cute these days, interacting more and all that. How are the boys?

Don't know if you are doing a dj but just went to a communion with Tommy Tunes. They were a huge hit for the kids around that age and a bit younger. He played song after song to keep them occupied and did give aways. Also did a round of Scavenger Hunt... he'd tell them go get a mans shoe, bring it back, a womans shoe, bring it back, a spoon, bring it back... on and on.
