Christening in Manhasset, Port Wash, Great Neck
Does any one have any recomendations for a nice place to have a Christening for about 75 adults and 25 kids in the Manhasset, Great Neck, Port Washington area?
I have already called Swan Club, Harbor Links, and George Washington Manor.
I also would be interested in any halls such as a VFW, American Legion, etc.

How about Leonards of Great Neck? THey have so many rooms, they shoud be able to accomodte that size party and their prices are pretty standard!

I've been to showers at Finn MacCool's in Port and DiMaggio's on the Bay (in Brewer's Capri Marina, I think it's just DiMaggio's now)
Also been to a party at Louie's.
All 3 were good.

The Metropolitan Club is the smaller venue run by the Metropolitan in Glen Cove: http://www.themetropolitancaterers.com/theclub.html
I'm not sure how many people it holds. The main ballroom at the Metropolitan can easily hold well over 100 people, though.

OMG, best place
Louie's Oyster Bar and Grille in PW.
I just had a 1st birthday there and can only rave about it! They have 2 private rooms with water views.
It was simply phenomenal.
