Christening meal question...
We are pretty much doing immediate family and godparents, around 20 people. Would it be cheaper to just go out for brunch or go somewhere to have it catered?
I'm thinking just having people order off a regular menu is cheaper. DH says no.

We did a brunch at home for DD's christening. It was around 20 ppl. It was the easiest and cheapest party I've ever had! We did eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, french toast sticks, fruit, and coffee cake! It was sooo easy!

unfortunately this is not an option because of space

I'm in the same boat when it comes to not enough space....I would like to have it somewhere but even with cutting down the list to just who needs to be there, it's still about 50 people
