Christening-Restaurants
Im trying to put this together and I have made my list and made as many cuts as I can to conserve some $$. Mind you, I have like 70 people still!
Im in Massapequa area. Anyone have suggestions that can hold that many and isnt crazy $ per person?

Re: Christening-Restaurants
Do you want to hear my list so far of restaurants I have to check out?
Stillwaters (everyone on here raves about it) Singletons Piccolo Bussolos Piccolos Cafe Toscano (never been but want to check it out)
I can't get into the filing cabinet where my list is - but when DH comes home I will see what else I wrote down.

Re: Christening-Restaurants
I like Hemingway's in Wantagh, we had our rehearsal dinner there for our wedding. Had our son's Christening party at Paddy's Loft in Massapequa. Hope this helps!

I just had my baby shower at Hudson's Mill in Massapequa on Merrick Road. This place is awesome and not expensive for a party at all!!!

Re: Christening-Restaurants
I looked at a lot of these places and either they couldn't hold the amount at the time we wanted or they couldn't hold it at all.
Some places that we liked....... Jackson Landing in Seaford la Piazza in merrick Hemingways in wantagh Singeltons in bethpage
we went with Tesoro's in Westbury......for the price it was the best we could find and the food is yummy!!

Re: Christening-Restaurants
I am having DD's christening at Singletons.
These are the prices:
Buffet-- $28 per person Brunch Buffet- $31 per person Sitdown Package- $31 per person Premium Sit Down Package- $33 per Deluxe Sitdown Package- $37 per
IMHO, I think you get more for your money with the Buffet package. They have this new room that is really nice and can hold up to 90 people.
If you want to know more about the menu and things they offer feel free to FM me. I can save you the time of calling or going there.

Re: Christening-Restaurants
Try Francesco's in Babylon village. They can hold up to 90 and they have several packages - most are under $20pp for a sit-down. Food is very good too!

I had my baby shower here. It was a little too crowded for us at about 60 people I think we had...
but the food was great as was the service and it was less then $20 pp.

Re: Christening-Restaurants
We had our catered by Guy Anthonys on Jerusalem Ave. in Merrick and the food was excellent. They do a have a restaurant (no private room though) but depending on what time of day it is you may be able to have the entire restaurant and their prices are very very reasonable. It can't hurt to give them a call.
