When do houses usually come down off MLS? After they are in contract? After closing?

Re: Christine/Beth
When your house goes under contract (both parties have signed), then the house's status changes to "UC" (under contract) and it no longer shows as available. It's still on the MLS for realtors to access, but it shows as unavailable only. Consumers can't pull it up on mlsli once the status changes to UC.
Before then, the listing agent's office will let whoever calls to inquire about the house know the status of the house. So if there's an accepted offer on it, or the contract is half signed, and it still shows as available, anyone who calls to see the house will know the situation.

It may take a few days for the realtors office to change the status once contracts are signed.
