Christmas card - suggestions needed

I am making my card with my very limited Photoshop skills. I got my idea from this card from tinyprints.com.

I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions for what to do with the white part of the card. The tree is really just a place holder for now. I'd like to put something that sort of shows "merry and bright".

Should I add more words? Do something different with the font?

I'd really love to hear any and all suggestions. Thanks so much! Chat Icon

What about a teddy bear instead of the tree?
Also I would center the text from top to bottom. Right now it is all towards the bottom.

I am not very good with suggestions (I do like that the OP suggested the teddy bear), but I had to comment on how gorgeous your DD is!! She's getting so big! We miss you guys!

I like it, so cute, great pic!! Chat Icon

Maybe a Christmas tree that has lights on it (noticeable lights?) to fit the "merry & bright" wording? And I agree, move the text up in the text box to be more centered in that space.

Good job!

ETA: If I were you, I'd totally search around on more card sites for inspiration if you're at a loss...I love getting ideas from other places!

Thanks, everyone! Chat Icon

I did some more work but am entirely unhappy with what I've done so far. I think I want to do too many things in a very small space. Argh!

C - I did some more perusing and definitely got some ideas from doing that!!

What about a more festive frame around the text box, the scallop is nice but not very "holiday" themey.

Oh and you need to add Paaaaaaaaaa Chat Icon

Thanks! I actually tried something like that but I couldn't get it to look just right. Perhaps I'll keep trying!

I would- there are some many cute clip art ornaments that would look awesome in that spot.

I shouldn't be saying anything since I can't even create a basic card on photoshop! I am beyond impressed- I just send my ideas to a friend on here to do for meChat Icon Chat Icon
