Christmas Eve - Where to go to dinner?
Dh and I want to start a tradition of having dinner by ourselves (at least up until we start having kids!!) on Christmas Eve. WE live in Bay Shore. Where is a good place to go? We didnt want to do Tellers or Gatsbys...a little too expensive for us. We are looking for maybe a Seafood place. Has anyone been to Seascape? Is it good?

Well, I'v been to a couple of very good places out east. I love Gimeli's(sp) in West Babylon and Don Ricardo's in W.Babylon too. I don't know about a seafood only place though

Well I've never been there, 'cause I don't eat fish, but what about Captain Bills?

Re: Christmas Eve - Where to go to dinner?
We had our rehearsal dinner at Seascape--it is good. Last year my brother came in late, so we didn't make reservations but went to the East Islip Clam and Oyster Bar, which is also delicious. My personal favorite is Bayberry Cafe on Main Street in Islip, where DH and I had our first date! It's still my favorite restaurant. DH and I are just getting pizza this year because we are hosting a dessert party later that night. Another year we went to the Beachtree Cafe because we hadn't made reservations, and it was also good.
