Christmas Gift help...PLEASE

I have no idea what to get my boss, he makes a ton of money and anything that he could possibly want he already has or I probably couldn't afford.

I'm willing to spend between 100-200 on the gift. We have a very good close relationship, so the gift can be somewhat personal.

any ideas please!!!
i've already rejected
- restaurant gift cert
- omaha steaks gift cert

Re: Christmas Gift help...PLEASE

What about a nice bottle of wine or champagne, or you could do the wine/cheese basket. Those run about $100.

keep the ideas coming!

champagne/wine - he gives good bottles out to people at the office os i don't really want to do that.

restaurant/legal seafood - i kind of want to stay away from restaurant gift certs.

broadway - shows just arent' this thing.

Re: Christmas Gift help...PLEASE

How about a nice Louis Vuitton tie, Chanel or an Armani tie. Men love nice ties when in business meetings. They always check out what the guy next to them is wearing- suit or tie.

if he does like sports does he like the yankees? even though you cant get tickets right now ( I dont think) you can from the yankee website get gift certificates for any amount that he can use to purchase tickets, or anything he wants. If you get that, put it in a yankee cup.
or an autographed framed picture of a sports player for his office?

I am in the same boat, here's a list of gifts that surface every year:

red envelope had this great leather passport holder and travel documents.

it seems like the popcorn factory is HUGE this year. I think we had over 10 packages delievered this year.

Flowers sent to their home if you are friendly with their wife.

mine are cigar whores

Burberry scarves.

Wine keys from restoration warhouse.

good luck!!

Ok, don't laugh, but would he be into something like a flying lesson?? I just saw an add in todays newsday. I don't know exactly what is, but here is the website www.historyflight.com. It's $195 and there is a $50 off coupon in the paper. Might be cool!!

Re: Christmas Gift help...PLEASE

also wanted to add, on Friday at the office I was given a Longerberger basket with a gift in it. I love Longerberger, so if you want to make a basket, it is a nice touch.
