Christmas gift ideas for my mom...
I'm STUMPED this year and it's the last gift I need to buy. I'd like to spend $100 or less, and I REALLY prefer not to get her a gift card somewhere....
Over the past several years, I have gotten her tons of Tiffany jewelry, finished off her crystal stemware collection, and last year I got her a whole set of Vera Bradley stuff.
I would love to get her a gold bracelet, but it would have to be a nice one for under $100... It's hard to find something nice in real gold for that price range.
She's an avid reader, but she buys her own books... She also reads constantly so I can't keep up with what she has read and hasn't read.
Spa gift cards have been done. Nice, keepsake Lenox ornaments have been done.
I guess I could get her a sweater or something, but I was hoping to do better than that. She's not too big into electronics, but I guess I wouldn't rule those out if it was the right kind of gadget.
She loves B'way plays, but my one brother has gotten her gift certificates for that at least 3 times in the past 5 years.
She does drink wine, but isn't really "into" it if you know what I mean. (In other words, she wouldn't really appreciate a great bottle of wine as a Christmas gift...)
They've already got albums and photos from our wedding, which was in 2007 anyway...
I really like giving REALLY good gifts. Not necessarily expensive gifts, but really thoughtful gifts. Why am I so stumped this year?
Has anyone seen any really pretty jewelry (not limited to bracelets) in the $100 price range recently?

Re: Christmas gift ideas for my mom...
If she likes reading, why not make her reading time more luxurious?
Does she read in bed? Maybe one of those back pillows (husband pillow i think) so she can sit up and read.
Maybe a tea set so she can have a cup of tea as she reads (Teavana has some great sets that I bought for people this year)
And maybe to top it off, a $25 gift card to Barnes and Noble.
Just to tie the whole gift together so she knows that it is a "reading theme".
Also bookends are nice. Here is a site that has great gift ideas based on the person's hobbies. I did a search for woman and bookworm.

What about a nice jewelry box for all of the Tiffany's you've gotten her in the past...
Jewelry Box
Does she like monogramed things?
Monogramed gold necklace
She enjoys reading... do you think she would enjoy writing her own story so to speak?
Story of a Lifetime

We got MIL a jewelery box this year too.
She's very difficult to shop for, and always buys all the things she'd want as gifts for herself right before the holidays
JCPenney.com has a nice selection in that price range
