Christmas Ideas for first grade
Does anyone have any fun activities you could share that my first graders would like? This is my first year in first grade and wanted to do some fun things with them.

Re: Christmas Ideas for first grade
Check out proteacher.net and go to the 1st grade board. I am on there all the time. Everyone shares such great ideas. You're going to love it! Every year I do a Holidays Around the World Unit and for holiday gifts I have the kids make a handprint ornament. They decorate each finger to look like a snowman. Found that idea on there. So cute!

Re: Christmas Ideas for first grade
We are doing a "holiday" traditions project, Looking Through My Window. We gave the students a blank piece of cardstock and are having them draw a picture of what we would see if we looked through their window during the holidays. We gave examples like decorating a tree or baking cookies. Then we are going to make it look like a window, using fabric for curtains, etc..
We have some children who don't celebrate Christmas so we said they could do one of their holidays or one of their traditions.
I teach 2nd grade but it may work for 1st too!
