Christmas picture shoot--what a DISASTER!
So tonight was our appt. at Kiddie Kandids...
Katherine and I practiced smiling all day; we talked about who was going to put the pictures of her and Abby in their homes; hair came out really cute; she put her dress on and claimed she looked "just like Cinderella!" Katherine is totally the weak link in this family, so why would I be concerned with Abby...even though her 2nd nap was only about 30 minutes and she cried through dinner...no problem...
The MINUTE we walk through the entrance to the studio--Kate FREAKS OUT! OK, so we let another couple go ahead and Kate was intrigued...couldn't wait to take her pictures; insisted on sitting in the sled; big smile...put Abby in her lap...Abby totally broke down! My smiley, happy, bubbly Abby melted  Needless to say, we left (even after Kate refused to get out of the sled)...no pictures 
Onto plan B...

Well, we took a few at home afterwards...THEN Abby smiles!  so we'll see what comes of those. I also rebooked for next Thursday--early this time.
It was just so depressing when you've dressed them all up, etc...sigh.

UGH I know how you feel...ever since DD turned 1 she has a fear of any portrait studio weve tried..she freaks the second we get there...
Im curious..whats plan B?

i sooo feel for you there seems to be sooo much pressure to get THE SHOT once your in there me and my husband and i are sweating bullets the whole time we are there trying to get our son to smile especially with all the effort you put in to get them all dressed up nice

YES! That's exactly what it's like and then DH and I get into a fight as a result of the whole thing!
