Christmas Tree Farm Rave

This was the first year I took DD to a Christmas tree farm. At the reccomendation of one of my Mom's coworkers we went to Shamrock Christmas tree farm and it was great. Santa was friendly, there was free hot chocolate and popcorn and free wine tasting too

We didn't end up cutting down our own tree because well I suck with saws but it did look like they had a big collection. I ended up buying one of their huge Frasier Fir trees for $45 and boy is that tree big and beautiful. Best of all they cut it wrapped it and put it on my car for me. I definitely reccomend going there especially if you have kids. They had a huge fire pit and a train ride that was $5 PP. I didn't do the train ride but my sis did with the kids and they liked it.

It was a nice experience but it is faaaar from NYC and Nassau county. I didn't know LI had so many wineries either. There were a whole bunch a long the way with free wine tasting.
