Christmas Tree Shops
I am going to the Christmas Tree shops with my Best Friend tomorrow!! Has anyone ever been? I love that store - great bargains!
We're going to the one in Spring Valley and I'm not positive how to get there. Last time we went, we got lost! I know I need to take the Palisades Parkway, but I don't know how to get there from LI. Can anyone help? TIA

I AM SO JEALOUS! I am DYING to go! This was the BEST part of living in Massachusetts We make a trip to MA every year to go to the Christmas Tree Shop.

love the Christmas Tree Shop, I can't pass one without stopping!
There are a couple ways to get to Spring Valley... one way is:
Throgs Neck Bridge
Bear Right after toll to I-95 North
Take to Exit 21 - 287 Tappan Zee Bridge (stay on about 12 miles follow signs to TZ Bridge)
Continue over Tappan Zee Bridge on 287/87 north
Get off at Exit 14 Spring Valley. make a right and another right into the Shopping center.

I love the store!!!
Check mapquest, but you take the palisades to the thruway west. I don't remember the exit number, but you exit and make a weird right and drive through the lot.

If you take the Palisades Pkwy, you'll have to take the George Washington Bridge. Thats up to you... but from GW upper level (can take lower but easier to take upper to PIP)
The exit for the Palisades Pkwy will be right over the bridge so stay in your right lane.
Take Palisades to Exit 9 West - (I87 Thruway North) to Exit 14 Spring Valley
Follow the same as my directions above.
(a right at the light then another right into the shopping center.)

I have been to one in MA and one in CT. My mom and her friends plan day trips to go to the one in CT. They have soooooo much fun there.
I got a lot of my outdoor dishes and serving pieces from them.

I live up in Rockland...just wanted to let you know they just added a Michaels and Bed Bath and Beyond in the same shopping center. There is also a Target, Nine West Outlet, Carters, Davids Bridal, Yankee Candle and TJ Maxx.

They are opening one in Hartsdale ( Westchester) soon.
I'm not sure when it opens. I wonder if this means there will be more in the area & maybe on LI in the near future.
I've never been , but my college roommate got the best stuff at one in CT.

They have one here in NJ (Paramus) about 5 minutes away from my house. I have taken a quick run through...but what is the big attraction? Seems like a super dollar store type place? Am I missing something exciting? I only went once and I wasn't impressed so I left.
