Christmas Warning
I got this from corporate - how insane,,, yet creative!
If you buy gift cards from a display rack that has various store cards you may become a victim of theft. The bad guys are now jotting down the card numbers in the store and then wait a few days and call to see how much of a balance THEY have on the card. Once they find the card is activated, they go online and start shopping. You may want to purchase you card from a customer service person where they do not have the gift cards viewable to the public.
The crime of identity theft is among the fastest growing crimes in the United States. The holiday season is prime time to steal and utilize this information. Take the time to guard all your personal information which includes shredding personal information such as utility bills, bank statements etc.
The holiday season should be a joyous and happy time for all. Unfortunately, this is also the season for an increase in crimes such as burglaries, robberies and larcenies. Please review all your personal security procedures and practices and make an extra commitment to becoming a victim.

Re: Christmas Warning
Wow...I have heard of 2 people at work in the last month who have had theft of some sort. One through paypal and the other's whole identity was stolen in 2001.

Re: Christmas Warning
I just told my sister. She buys these alot so now she's probably better off going into the stores themselves to buy them.
