Chuck e cheese for bday party?
Trying to see if this would be age appropriate for my dd 2nd bday? They say they have a toddler area. I guess ill have to check it out myself. If anyone has any feedback let me know. Thanks.

my 2.5 y old is just starting to get into chuck e cheese.
DO NOT make your party on the weekend.... way to busy for 2 year olds, IMO!!!

Re: Chuck e cheese for bday party?
I don't know if all Chuck E Cheese's are alike, but I would say no way to the one near us. and weekends are truly a nightmare there. My DD is 4 and many of the games/rides are still too advanced for her and the crowds on weekends make it even harder for her to even get to play the ones she can do. Personally I am just not a fan of Chuck E cheese.

I would wait... Chucky Cheese is the type of place your child will be asking you to have his/her birthday there (when a little older). DS begged me for a year. As a parent, not the type of place you want to do more then once =).

Re: Chuck e cheese for bday party?
I remember going to chuck e cheese when I was 6-7 and having a blast.
DS is almost 2 and I'd rather have a party at a place like Gymboree or My Gym. Seems much more age appropriate for toddlers.

Re: Chuck e cheese for bday party?
DS is 2 and LOVES it!! The Patchogue location has a great toddler areas, but Commack not so much. Its the best value for a party out there. Plus, CEC does a good job of seperating the games (ie more toddler stuff close by).
Now, I'm planning on doing DS's 3rd birthday there and I will be doing a Sunday, but probably the 1030AM one because I know from experienced (worked there for 8 years) that it doesn't get packed till 12N-on.
Also, Sunday mornings are less crowded then Saturdays.
Personally CEC is IDEAL for 3-6. But, working there, people had 2 year birthdays ALL THE TIME.
And I'm obviously a huge fan.
