Cinco de Mayo - Well, 4th - Black Bean Help Please

I'm celebrating tonight w/ DS.
I want him to try black beans.
I have corn, tomatoe
I was going to make soft tacos w/ chicken, rice and cheese (makes a gooey concoction that sticks together/easy for him to eat)

I was going to mix the beans in, but then I was thinking of a corn/black bean salad but affraid he might not go for that either. He does NOT like tomatoes.

I could make black bean mash...

Any other ideas?

I love black beans, corn, red onion, cilantro, fresh jalapeno, lime juice, salt and pepper.

You could try black bean soup if you don't think he'd go for a salad.

My kids just eat them on their own. Or you can put them in the taco!

i cook them with garlic and red onion, cilantro and any other spice I am feeling that day and just eat them on the side or put them on the tacos! yum!

I decided to mash some up and mix it in his taco - he ate it - didn't even notice.

He did inform me that, "sometimes kids don't like black beans".
