CINGULAR CELL PHONE VENT Re: Porn Text Messaging I Am Getting
Can you believe this? The past two weeks I am getting a bunch of text messages to call "hot babes" etc, etc (a sex line) and they give a number. I finally call Cingular today and can you BELIEVE that they said I NEED TO PAY $4.99 to block this stuff! ME, pay I said? There has to be something else I can do. My Mom said to call the Attorney General, any advice?

You could change your number. I don't know if that helps but I think it royally sucks.
Isn't there a way to get your number removed from their list?

there isn't some way to hit reply and type STOP to have them stop sending that to you? whenever i've gotten ads thru txt i do that and it works
